The founders of the MPower Experience, Gregg Russell and Cathy Cook Russell, have grown up in the
golf world. Both are accomplished professionals with vast backgrounds in competitive golf which has
taken them literally around the world over the past 35 years. They have been instructed by some of the
greatest teachers in the business and have come to realize the value is in the “playing” of golf.
Both Gregg and Cathy credit their families with their successes and believe the game of golf can be learned
and enjoyed by every member of the family unit. It is their passion to pass on what they have experienced
so families truly can spend quality time together on the golf course.
The programs offered by the MPower Experience present a vast collection of opportunities for children,
adults and the whole family unit to discover the abilities within themselves through playing the game of golf.
The First Tour, US Kids Tour Series, Junior Camps, John Cook Golf Academies, and classes with The
First Tee all have golf as the foundation, self awareness as the process and positive character development
as the intended outcome to empower each individual and the entire family, as a whole, become the best
they can be.
